Comfort Care Givers...

Job Objective: To minister the love of Christ to individuals in need of physical, emotional and/or spiritual comfort, as the Lord directs and enables.

**Every life has difficulties… some greater than others. The loss of a loved one who used to handle everything, the loneliness of living far from family, the uncertainty (or certainty) of a medical diagnosis, the hurt of strained relationships, and so much more.

**Sometimes people just need a friendly face… someone to listen and share the load. They may need more professional help, but they don’t know where to turn. Or they may be seeking answers or reassurance about deeper issues: “Is there a God? Does He really care? How can know for sure?” That’s where our Comfort Care Givers come in. Because we have long-term relationships with our customers, they often tell us when “life” beyond their air conditioning has made them uncomfortable.

**Our Comfort Care Givers are not professional counselors…they are caring, compassionate people who, having received God’s comfort, have been called and equipped by God to “pass it on” to others.

**In the spirit of “loving their neighbor,” they simply offer friendship – through telephone reassurance, personal visits, simple errands and/or “acts of kindness” … plus, if necessary, referral services to community agencies, organizations and individuals who can provide licensed professional help and/or other resources.
